“When I made it, I was thinking a lot about the duality in my practice: the passion, and the anxiety that comes with what I do. This piece embodies that conflict, that interplay between the black and the red, the black symbolizing the anxiety, and the red expresses that passion. I've come to understand that many artists navigate this duality: the constant battle between passion and anxiety on their creative path. However, I've transformed these elements into the foundation of my practice. They no longer hinder; they fuel me.
Now, the symbols once representing anxiety and passion have morphed into emblems of confidence, becoming pillars of strength in my practice, akin to a deity. This transformation has given rise to a new collection I've named 'The New Image of God,' reflecting this evolution and the newfound empowerment within my creative journey."
